According to a message from Tesla’s official Weibo account, Tesla has launched an upgraded version of the Model Y in China, with a starting price of 263,500 yuan, and is expected to begin deliveries in March. The refreshed Model Y’s first edition is available for pre-sale until February 28, 2025.
Like Tesla’s sudden launch of the new Model 3 last year, the new Model Y also went live without any official preheating.
Model Y and Model 3 are Tesla’s mainstay models in terms of sales volume, with a total of approximately 1.704 million units delivered last year. Model Y is expected to continue to be the world’s best-selling passenger car model.
