
Sales of Chinese-branded cars in Russia increased 3.7 times in May this year, according to Autostat, a Russian auto industry analyst. Haval became the most popular Chinese brand in the Russian market in May, with sales of 3167 cars, a year-on-year increase of 3.2 times. Chery is in the second place, with car sales growing even faster—almost ninefold to 2990. Geely ranked in the top three with 2001 sales of cars (up 3.1 times).
