Recently, a set of renderings of Huawei Mate 40 Pro phone shell have seen the light of day thanks to a source @smartvenkat95.
From the renderings posted, Huawei’s new phone adopts the hyperboloid design, with a curved surface with large curvature on the front and a curved surface with a double-hole cut. The back is still designed as an OREO rear camera module, which is composed of three cameras and ToF sensors. What is deserved mentioning is the ToF sensor located on top of the rear camera module, with a strip flash below and one camera on each side respectively.
According to the renderings of Huawei Mate 40/Pro CAD and the screen cover, the phone uses a super curved display, and its front design is similar to that of the Mate 40 Pro. Both the Mate 40 and Mate 40 Pro will be equipped with a 5nm Kirin 9000 processor and will have hyperboloid displays with a perforated design and a large circular camera bulge on the back, and bigger than the Mate 30 Pro, according to messages. In terms of software, the phone will be pre-loaded with Android-based EMUI 11 and Huawei Mobile Services (HMS).
