CrediBook received $1.5 million in round A financing

Indonesian financial technology start-up CrediBook received $1.5 million in round A financing,Wavemaker Partners, Alpha JWC Ventures, and Insignia Ventures Partners led the investment.

CrediBook was co-founded by Christian Lie and Dekha Anggareska and former Traveloka product managers Gabriel Frans. Its applications mainly provide users with recording services such as expenses, debts, receipts and so on. Users can send bills free of charge via SMS or WhatsApp and receive money with CrediBook directly. According to the company, as of August 2020, it had more than 200000 users in more than 700 cities in Indonesia, including dry cleaning, auto repair, fashion,building materials and so on.
